Session Time Explained:
The stated session length (60-120 minutes) is exclusively for your therapeutic, hands-on time. Therapeutic time means the time you spend on the table with the therapist applying your treatment.
You are asked to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled session start time. This allows for:
~ Time to use the restroom and/or hydrate.
~ Discussing your session goals and any questions with your therapist.
~ Completing any necessary paperwork.
What's Not Included:
The session length does NOT include the following:
~ In-take discussion time: Initial conversations about your needs or goals.
~ Check-out time: Time for redressing, rebooking, or making payments after your session.
Early Departure Policy:
If you need to leave by a specific time, you should inform your therapist during your in-take.
Your therapist will adjust your session to end accordingly. However, we reserve the right to charge the full rate of your booked session, even if you leave before your full hands-on time is complete.
The only exception that a discount would be applied is if the therapist caused a late session start!
Deep Tissue Massage:

Deep Tissue and deep pressure are NOT interchangeable. Deep Tissue is a modality with specific techniques to release adhesions and restrictions in muscular and myofascial tissue.
Pressure is simply how much force is applied by the therapist. This means a therapist can provide a deep Deep Tissue massage, or a medium Deep Tissue, or a deep Swedish, or a light Swedish massage, or anything in between!
At its most basic, Deep Tissue focuses on the fiber alignment and potential productivity of muscle and surrounding connective tissue.
Swedish, while understandably stereotyped and marketed as mainly Relaxation, truly has deep and powerful benefits. By focusing less on specific muscle groups and their individual restrictions, Swedish stands out for calming the parasympathetic response (letting you zone out), improving true lymphatic flow, and helping relieve sensory overload.
